The Pacific Dental Services (PDS) Foundation has donated its mobile dental clinic to the High Point University Workman School of Dental Medicine.

The mobile clinic comprises a fully equipped RV with two dental chairs and will allow HPU students to apply their classroom knowledge in real-world settings, delivering oral health care to underserved populations, according to the PDS Foundation. The school's inaugural class starts its first academic year on August 4.

From 2013 to 2020, PDS Foundation volunteers used the mobile clinic to provide dental care at no cost to underserved populations throughout the U.S. On July 23, PDS Foundation Executive Director Michael Le delivered the keys to the mobile clinic to Workman faculty and staff members.
