The University of Florida College of Dentistry (UFCD) Office of Research has appointed Dr. Valeria Gordan, MSCI, as associate dean.

Gordan joined the college in 1997, as a tenured professor in the Division of Operative Dentistry of the UFCD Department of Restorative Dental Sciences and has served in the role as interim associate dean since December 2020.
As associate dean, she will oversee UFCD’s research activities and operations, foster participation in research, and provide administrative oversight of sponsored research funding.
