The North Carolina Dental Public Health Residency Program is accepting applications now through November 1, 2022, for its 2023-2024 academic year, the according to the state's department of health and human services.
The program is based in Raleigh and has a July 2023 start date. It offers dentists who have completed formal academic training in public health further experience. In addition, the residency program is conducted via partnerships with the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill; East Carolina University; North Carolina Medicaid; and community-based dental programs.
The residency is in person and is available on a 12-month full-time or 24-month part-time basis. There is no tuition fee.
