Artificial intelligence (AI) software provider Pearl will integrate its Second Opinion and Practice Intelligence software within Patterson Dental’s Eaglesoft dental practice management system.
Last year, Second Opinion was the first dental AI software program authorized by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to help dentists in detecting numerous conditions commonly diagnosed in the x-rays of teeth in patients age 12 and older, according to Pearl.
Further, Pearl’s Practice Intelligence software is designed to synthesize AI clinical findings with patient treatment data synced from practice management systems to deliver insights to dental practices, Pearl said.
