The 200th dental professional has successfully completed D4D Technologies' CAD/CAM Dental Designer (CDD) program.
E4D University introduced the CDD program in 2008 to help dental assistants and in-office technicians develop the skills for success in a modern dental practice, the company explained in a press release.
Those who complete the self-paced study program demonstrate skills and understanding of CAD/CAM technology, design principles, and restoration stain and glaze techniques. Participants must also pass both a practical exam and a written exam to complete the program.
