As we continue our Cellerant CEO interview series, powered by DrBicuspid.com, I interviewed Jinesh Patel, the founder and CEO of Uptime Health. During our talk, we discussed everything from equipment maintenance and its future to his thoughts on entrepreneurship.

Uptime Health is an equipment management platform that helps dental offices maintain their equipment, keep it in compliance, and predict when failures may occur. The platform covers everything from handpieces to cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) machines. Uptime Health gathers information about the equipment through technicians and benchmarks it against similar data.

The company also provides task management and educational resources to help inexperienced team members maintain and troubleshoot equipment. The platform is beneficial for rural dental practices and manufacturers, as it improves access to care and provides surge resources for equipment failures. Uptime Health is in the growth stage and has partnerships with over 50 dental service organizations and services over 1,000 locations.

"It basically helps people understand what they have in their dental offices and make sure that they know how to take care of the pieces of equipment, keep them in compliance, and even know where to go when something breaks down and predict when the next failure is going to happen," Patel said.
