Air Techniques launches new vacuum
Dental equipment manufacturer Air Techniques has launched a new dry vacuum system and will feature it at GNYDM 2017.
The Mojave LT is designed to replace conventional liquid ring pumps and is completely water-free. The vacuum is compact, nearly silent, and features a multicolor touchscreen display, according to the company.

Bien-Air powers new turbine
Bien-Air will feature a new turbine with a compact head.
The TornadoS delivers 24 watts of power with a compact head that is 10.8 mm in diameter and 12.1 mm in height. This reduced head size allows the practitioner to access molar areas. This turbine has ceramic ball bearings capable of handling high speeds and heavy loads, according to the company.

Dentsply Sirona features updated laser
Dentsply Sirona will showcase the latest version of its SiroLaser Advance.
The SiroLaser Advance Plus includes a single-use fiber management system and ergonomic design to make treatment setup and preparation more efficient, according to the company. The laser allows the practitioner to perform soft-tissue surgical and hygiene procedures with a single instrument, according to the company.

Parkell launches new implant cement
Dental supply manufacturer Parkell has launched a resin-based implant cement and will feature it at the meeting.
The Retrieve DC resin-based implant cement offers long-term, semipermanent adherence to all implant prostheses without needing a bonding agent. The cement guarantees polymerization in areas where a curing light cannot access, according to the company.
The product can be used under ceramic implant restorations and features a gel stage when self-curing for removal of excess cement.

Glidewell to highlight partnership with Align Technology
Glidewell Dental has announced an agreement with Align Technology to distribute that company's iTero Element intraoral scanning system as part of Glidewell's restoratives workflow system.
The Glidewell.io is a chairside restorative ecosystem for the prescribing and delivery of restorations, according to the company. The system will be available for purchase in early 2018, but orders can be placed at GNYDM 2017.

Pioneer Lasers rebrands 2 lasers
Pioneer Lasers has rebranded two popular lasers under the Pioneer name.
The diode lasers formerly known as the Odyssey Navigator and the Odyssey 2.4G (Ivoclar Vivadent) are now known as the Pioneer Elite and the Pioneer Pro, respectively. While Pioneer has manufactured the lasers since 2003, they are now available directly from the company or through the company's strategic partners.

Taub debuts new acrylic resin
Taub Products will debut a new acrylic resin at the Greater New York Dental Meeting.
The Stellar DC acrylic resin is a dual-cure resin and can be used for creating patterns for copings and models and also for the indexing of implants. The material grinds easily, burns out completely, and can be layered. It can be light cured in 20 seconds or will cure on its own in 60 seconds, according to the company.
