Cosmedent has launched five new products for temporary crowns and bridges.
The new products include MirrorImage temporary crown and bridge material, Connect translucent temporary resin cement, Adhere noneugenol temporary zinc oxide cement, Adjust flowable composite for correcting and repairing temporary crowns and bridges; and Gloss acrylic varnish, according to a press release.
MirrorImage creates temporary crown and bridge restorations. It has faster working and setting times; good handling, strength and durability; a low exothermic reaction, good aesthetics, and a natural fluorescence. It is available in a 50 mL, 10:1 automix cartridge in five Vita shades: A1, A2, A3, B1, and Bleach (OM2).
Connect is a translucent, automix temporary resin cement for aesthetic temporaries. It is a dual-cure temporary cement that creates a good seal and is easy to apply, remove, reseat, and clean up.
Adhere is a noneugenol temporary zinc oxide cement that features low film thickness and easy removal. It is available in in an auotmix delivery and provides reliable adhesion.
Adjust is a light-cure flowable composite designed to correct and repair temporary crowns and bridges. It is color-matched to MirrorImage and is also compatible with all bis-acryl provisionals. It is easy to apply, shape, and polish to a high shine. Adjust has an aesthetic appearance and natural fluorescence and has no methylmethacrylate.
Gloss is a light-cure, one-component acrylic varnish for intraoral use on temporary crown and bridge materials. It creates a high shine for an aesthetic temporary without leaving a smear layer. It features fast application and resistance to food and plaque accumulation and has no methylmethacrylate.
