Hands On Training Institute has released DentalEd, an educational iPad app for implant dentists.
The free version of DentalEd gives dentists immediate access to two implant surgery videos. For implant dentists who purchase the digital version of the 11-day Implant Mini-Residency program, they can register their license through the DentalEd App and download the program onto their iPad.
The full-version app contains more than 3,200 images, 400-plus narrated video clips, live surgical videos, photographs, custom narrated animations, and notes that are documented by leading dentists. Notes can be customized to a user's learning experience. App users can also view more than four hours of hands-on training exercises performed on training models.
To view the free version of the app on your iPad, search for "DentalEd" in the App Store under the Medical category. The DentalEd App for iPad is not compatible with an iPhone, and thus is not searchable in the App Store from an iPhone, the company noted in a press release.
