Implantology, an email discussion group dedicated to implant dentistry, is celebrating its 15th anniversary.
Created in 1998, Implantology has served the dental community by providing an open forum for semimoderated discussion of all phases of implant dentistry, unfettered by conflicts of interest, according to the group.
Members are encouraged to post questions, discuss techniques, critique products, examine laboratory methods, and delve into practice management issues or any other areas of interest pertaining to implant dentistry. Joining is free and limited to dental professionals, suppliers, manufacturers, and laboratories. No group, company, or organization affiliation is required.
Hundreds of members from more than 15 countries are represented. Chat is delivered daily to the member's office, home, or mobile email account. Posting or replying is as simple as sending an email, the group noted.
