The CAO Group, a high-tech dental and forensic detection company, has filed a patent infringement complaint against DentLight regarding its LED curing and detection light patent portfolio, which consists of more than 30 patents.
CAO Group's patent infringement complaint against DentLight was filed February 20 in the Eastern District of Texas, according to the company.
CAO's LED curing light products for the dental industry includes its Ascent PX LED curing light, a high-powered and fast-curing light with an ergonomic design that provides 360° wand rotation for ideal positioning. CAO also sells its Ascent OL5 LED curing light, a combination of LED lights, which is used for curing all composites and materials used in the dental industry. Additionally, CAO offers its UltraLite ALS heads focused on forensic detection efforts.
CAO's dental products also include whitening products and lasers.
