Bart Doedens has been appointed president of Biomet 3i, returning to the company after a six-year absence.
He replaces Maggie Anderson, who announced her resignation after four years with the organization.
Doedens' history with Biomet 3i dates back to 1997 when he joined Implant Innovations as vice president of international marketing and sales. Soon after Biomet's acquisition of Implant Innovations, he was named president of Biomet 3i. Doedens served in that capacity until 2005 when he was named president of Biomet's spine and bone healing division, now known as Biomet Spine & Bone Healing Technologies.
In 2006, Doedens left Biomet, and in 2007 he joined Sirona Dental Systems as vice president of global CAD/CAM.
