Patients do not come "one size fits all." With that in mind, Sunstar Americas created Go-Betweens Proxabrush cleaners in three varieties to match the size of the interproximal areas: tight, moderate, and wide.
All are shaped in the more clinically effective tapered form for easier access between teeth. Another feature of Go-Betweens is the portability. With their hygienic caps and antibacterial brushes, Go Betweens are great for oral hygiene on the go.

But one of my favorite features about the Go-Betweens is their color coding: green for tight, pink for moderate, and teal for wide. How many times do we try to explain to our patients which interproximal aid to use? The number and variety of products in the local pharmacy aisle can be overwhelming. And if the patient is overwhelmed, what are the chances they will just shrug their shoulders and say, "I'll get them next time"?
With Go-Betweens, product recognition is a snap. They come eight to a package, and each package clearly indicates which size the product is by both color and photo of the size of interproximal space.
We are seeking patient compliance, and, with the Go-Betweens system, we have ease of product recognition for the individual patient's specific oral needs. Patients are not all that excited about stringing floss under a bridge abutment. The Go-Betweens Proxabrush cleaners make it simple and easy, which should lead to better compliance. They are also great for cleaning around implants.
"Having the opportunity to recommend an interproximal brush that is going to fit an embrasure space properly guarantees better plaque removal," said Jackie Sanders, RDH, the associate marketing manager for Sunstar. "Another step in helping our patients attain better oral health."
