A team of U.K. and U.S. researchers is developing synthetic biomaterials that support native stem cells for regenerative dental fillings. CHX Technologies announced it would seek U.S. Food and Drug Administration approval in 2017 for the company's topical, prescription tooth coating to prevent dental decay.
