Procter & Gamble (P&G) will start making Crest, Blend-a-med, and Oral-B toothpaste tubes recyclable in January 2021.
For the first time, the tubes will be made of the recyclable material high-density polyethylene (HDPE). P&G hopes to have the conversion completed by 2025 in the U.S. and Europe. This move increases the recyclability levels of the tubes and falls in line with the company's commitments to achieve 100% recyclable or reusable packaging.
