In 2023, the American Dental Hygienists' Association (ADHA) celebrates a century as the largest national professional association for registered dental hygienists.
Throughout the year, the ADHA will celebrate by recalling historic achievements, milestones, and the people who made it happen and make it happen every day. An event to mark the achievement will be held at the association's annual conference at the McCormick Place convention center in Chicago July 7-9. The conference will feature a timeline exhibit with highlights from ADHA's history and 100 Moments videos, along with future-focused experiences.
Also, the ADHA will recognize the milestone in the following ways:
- Rebrand the organization, including the logo, web properties, and media
- Share a series of 100 highlights celebrating the organization's achievements, presidents, history, and longtime members with interviews and anecdotes
- Launch a redesigned website on January 31
- Host an ADHA online store for individual item sales for state organizations
- Publish a new online content hub featuring articles, editorials, and information for members, the dental hygiene community, and the public
