Buffalo Dental Manufacturing (BDM) has launched the Dynamic Duo, which combines an electric handpiece and a dental trimming tool.
Specifically, the Dynamic Duo combines BDM’s V35 electric handpiece for dental laboratories and the ThermaKnife, which is used to trim bleaching trays, nightguards, mouthguards, and 3D-printed prostheses.
The product offers the following features:
- Speed options of 14,000, 22,000, 27,000, and 35,000 rpms
- A high-torque motor
- Fully adjustable temperature control
- An A and B selection switch enables the use of two different thermal pens
Also, an optional heated aligner dimple plier, which is used to create dimples in aligners to apply pressure and guide tooth movement, is available.
