Desktop Health has launched a new series of 3D printers for dental professionals called Einstein, as well as a new dental resin called Flexcera Smile Ultra+.
The Einstein printer series features digital light manufacturing and the company's NanoFit 385 technology, Desktop Health said.
Flexcera Smile Ultra+ is cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for permanent, printable dental restorations. It is three times more resistant to fracture and two times more resistant to moisture compared to other resins, the company said.
