Colgate-Palmolive is adding to its Hum smart toothbrush line with the addition of Hum Kids, an app and toothbrush that help children learn proper oral care habits and get excited about brushing their teeth.
The manual toothbrush has a brush boot to connect to the Hum Kids app, which has interactive games. The brush helps guide strokes with animated germs and bacteria to brush away as well as rewards at each step when children complete a task. Themed masks are one of the in-app incentives to keep children excited, Colgate-Palmolive said.
The Hum Kids brushes come in two colors: yellow and coral. The smart manual toothbrush also has a thumb grip that is specifically designed for easy handling, extra-soft bristles for a gentle clean, and a tongue cleaner. The brushes are also replaceable so parents can replace them every three months or when bristles appear worn.
The Hum Kids starter kit retails for $14.99 and a two-count replacement pack retails for $3.99 at the Colgate-Palmolive website, Amazon, Target, and select national retailers.
