Canadian dental health company Oral Science is heading south to bring its oral hygiene products to the U.S.
Oral Science's X-Pur Cario toothpaste and X-Pur Opti-Rinse are among the products to be available soon to oral health professionals and dentists. The toothpaste and oral rinse feature Citrox, a natural antibacterial bioflavonoid compound designed to reduce the buildup of harmful bacteria in the mouth.
In addition, the additive xylitol is designed to reduce the occurrence of cavities, oral sores, and lesions. Xylitol sweeteners do not contain sugar that can cause cavities or increase blood glucose levels, according to the company.
