Air Techniques has introduced a new chairside digital radiography system, the ScanX Swift.
Using flexible, cordless phosphor sensors, the ScanX Swift system enables dentists to capture 100% of the radiographs they want from children or elderly patients without causing any discomfort, noted Jay Ramachandran, senior product manager, in a press release.
It fits on the countertop in the operatory and produces images in 9 seconds or less, with a workflow that is virtually identical to film, the company noted.
