DentiMax has introduced the Dream Sensor, a new dental software package that includes a digital x-ray sensor designed to improve patient comfort.
The Dream Sensor features rounded corners and smooth edges, and comes in two sizes to accommodate children, adults, and those who have a strong gag reflex that makes it difficult to accept a standard sensor, the company noted in a press release.
The package integrates with other dental suites, such as Softdent and Dentrix. If the user chooses the DentiMax Imaging package, they receive export capabilities, an image bar, a bridge that coordinates imaging software functionality with an already installed practice management suite, and a full-screen image option. The advanced imaging package also features an additional tool box, image macros, the ability to manipulate the images for detailed views and a customized layout option.
The company offers an 18-month manufacturer warranty on the Dream Sensor and the option for a five-year extended warranty.
