Carl Zeiss Meditec and Henry Schein Dental have struck a distribution partnership in the U.S. for Zeiss dental microscopes -- OPMI pico and OPMI PROergo -- and for Zeiss EyeMag dental loupes.
Henry Schein will be the distributor for Zeiss dental equipment to U.S. dentists and endodontists. The Zeiss product line will be available beginning July 1, 2013.
The compact OPMI pico microscope integrates maintenance-free LED illumination for natural light visualization. The OPMI PROergo has no exposed cables and components to interfere with work and features power zoom and autofocus. Free-float magnetic suspension facilitates positioning of the microscope, and with motorized controls, users do not need to change their working position during a procedure.
