DEXIS unveils OPG x-ray, AI software at 2023 GNYDM

Dental imaging technology company DEXIS unveiled a new orthopantomograph (OPG) x-ray machine and artificial intelligence (AI)-based software at the 2023 Greater New York Dental Meeting (GNYDM), which ended on November 29.

Its OPG OP 3D LX offers dental professionals the following features:  

    • Larger field-of-view options of up to 15 cm x 20 cm
    • Integration with AI-enabled DTX studio clinic software 
    • Cloud-based connectivity 

    DEXassist software assists dentists in using AI-enabled 2D image findings to help identify up to six different dental pathologies, according to the company.
