Roseman University's College of Dental Medicine in Henderson, NV, has graduated its first class to be fully trained on the Bioclear Method for dental restoration.

The college was the first in the U.S. to incorporate the Bioclear Method into its curriculum, Bioclear said. The approach was introduced in 2007 by David Clark, DDS, and offers a new way to practice restorative dentistry, particularly anterior and posterior composite resin restorations. Traditionally, restorations have been composed of amalgam, according to the firm.

The Bioclear Method is also being incorporated into the curriculum at institutions such as Loma Linda University in California and the University of Montreal in Canada, Bioclear said.
