Dear DrBicuspid Member,

One of the things I often love to do with our authors here on DrBicuspid.com is follow up with them on articles that are well-received by our audience. Such was the case earlier this week when I chatted with Kim McCleskey about an article she wrote for us at the beginning of the month that was focused on embezzlement.

McCleskey's article on how to recognize and prevent embezzlement in your dental practice was a hit with our readers, but there was one part of the article that particularly drew me in. It was the section where McCleskey discussed some of the red flags that can arise and alert a dentist that he or she could be a victim of embezzlement.

In that section, McCleskey talked about dental practices that rely on just one employee for their finances. With that in mind, I wanted to follow up with her on what she meant and any specific advice she would have on that piece of the puzzle. Not only did she share advice, but she also shared a recent example where a dental practice had suffered the consequences of relying on one person to handle the money.

You can see our interview below, and I encourage you to take her words to heart, as well as read the article linked above.

This week's articles I want to make sure you saw
