Fernando Ehrhardt, 51, was charged with tax fraud and repeated failure to file personal income and earnings taxes. After his arraignment, he was released on his own recognizance.

During the tax years 2016 through 2020, Ehrhardt reportedly earned W-2 and 1099 income. In that time frame, the dentist allegedly had unpaid tax liabilities and failed to file personal tax returns, resulting in him defrauding the state of more than $13,000, according to news reports.

In August 2017, a tax warrant for nonpayment of taxes between the tax years 2010 to 2013 were filed against Ehrhardt.
