Do's and don'ts for goals

How are things going with your goals for the new year? We're a month into the new year, and now is a good time to make sure you're getting off to a good start. For something to be a goal, it must be written and measurable and have a deadline. Practices with clear goals that review them weekly and monthly achieve higher levels of success.

Do

Look at your KPIs. All good businesses have a set of key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure practice performance. If any of your KPI's are not at the right level, take time to determine why and fix the problem.

Don

Don't blame the pandemic. If you're not hitting your goals or targets for the year, don't keep blaming the shutdown. Of course, the shutdown has negatively affected practices, but there are many new approaches you can use to improve performance and help your practice bounce back faster, better, and deeper.
