The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) and the Illinois State Dental Society (ISDS) launched the "Fake Dentist, Real Risk” campaign.
The goal of the campaign is to warn the public about unlicensed dentists in Illinois. These individuals have caused serious harm to patients, such as chipped teeth, fake braces, and infections.
