The University of Pikeville (UPIKE) and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Medicaid in Kentucky launched the Anthem Dental Rural Medicine Scholarship at the school's Tanner College of Dental Medicine.
The scholarship will support dental students committed to serving in rural eastern Kentucky, aiming to address the region's shortage of healthcare professionals and improve dental care in underserved areas.
