Sun Life U.S. has partnered with Teledentistry.com to bring members virtual access to dental providers at any time and in any location.
The service is automatically incorporated into dental coverage, Sun Life said. It also provides support for people who need dental care in emergencies, while traveling, or outside of traditional business hours.
Consultation results are communicated to the member's dental provider for follow-up care, the company noted. Teledentistry.com services are currently available to Sun Life preferred provider organization (PPO) dental plan members.
