CDC: Number of U.S. adult smokers hits record low

November 20, 2018 -- Smokers have an increased risk of oral disease but use dental healthcare at lower rates than nonsmokers, so researchers sought to understand the factors affecting dental care use in low-income smokers. November 16, 2018 -- The use of electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes) by middle and high school students may be an epidemic, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
